This proposal introduces a carefully considered set of targeted energy-generating additions to the existing Kajima GEAR Laboratory. By integrating wind-powered elements, responsive facade panels, and floor-based energy harvesting systems, the design aims to establish a self-sustaining energy loop that not only offsets the building’s operational energy consumption but also enriches the overall spatial and sensory experience of its users. Each addition has been thoughtfully designed to be lightweight, modular, and scalable.
